Chandra S. Gipson began working at the Ascension Parish Clerk of Court’s Office as a part-time student worker in 1985. Her career with the Clerk’s Office officially began on September 1, 1986, when she was hired for a full-time position as a file clerk. Shortly thereafter, Chandra was moved to the Civil Suits Department where she worked for a brief period until becoming a Court Minute Clerk in 1988. Chandra was appointed Associate Supervisor of the Minute Clerk Department in 1994 and served in that position, until she was promoted to her current position as the Criminal Department Supervisor.
Chandra is a Certified Deputy Clerk of Court and a member of the Louisiana Clerks of Court Association. She is also a 2007 graduate of Leadership Ascension and a lifelong resident of Ascension Parish.
